JOSEPH L. TUPPER, JR.,is the President of Tupper Farms, Inc., a managing partner in G & J Farms and has various other agricultural interest that total over 2,500 acres. He and his wife Gwen have 3 children,(Ashley, Katie, and Cade)and 8 grandchildren. Joe graduated from L.S.U. with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Business in 1981, and attended McNeese State University pursuing a Paralegal degree. He is presently serving as First Vice-President of Jeff Davis Electric Cooperative, Inc., Vice-President of Jeff Davis Parish Farm Bureau, Treasurer of the Jeff Davis Cattlemen's Association and is a charter member and Chairman of the Jeff Davis Soil & Water Conservation District. He also serves as Treasurer of the Jeff Davis Rice Growers, is a graduate of the 2002 Rice Leadership Class, Vice President of the RLC Alumni Association and belongs to several other organizations on the state and national level. Joe also serves as a member of the Jefferson Davis Parish Industrial Development Board. Joe obtained his real estate license and began a 2nd career as an agent for Daigle Real Estate in Jennings, LA. In 2007, he was awarded the ABR designation by the Real Estate Buyers Agency Council. Later that year, he recieved the Sellers Representative Specialist designation presented by the SRS Council. In early 2008, Joe became an associate broker for a local real estate firm. April of 2009, the Louisiana Realtors conferred the designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) to Joe in recognition of completion of advanced educational requirements. In May 2009, Joe obtained the designation of e-PRO demonstrating his ongoing commitment to technology. January 2011, in order to better serve the needs of his clients and to promote Joe's vision for the future of real estate, he started Tupco Realty.
